Outpatient

Non-residential Drug and Alcohol Rehab

Intensive Outpatient Program

We offer an intensive outpatient program known as “IOP”. IOP works well for people as the next step after in-patient treatment or detox, or for those who don’t meet some of the criteria for residential rehab programs. Outpatient rehab helps patients get addiction treatment while still being able to work and reintegrate into family life.

Choosing the Right Program

Your first step is to consult with an addiction specialist to determine the most effective treatment based on your situation.

IOP drug and alcohol rehab is a highly-structured program with varying degrees of intensity depending on patient needs.
If we determine that a client will be better served in another program, we’ll help you find one.

Our Approach

Coastwise IOP treatment follows guidelines developed by the American Society of Addiction Medicine.

Our team will put together a treatment plan that outlines the care needed to get you on the path to recovery and integrate sobriety into your life. We’ll meet with you regularly to review progress and adjust your treatment plan.

Our Addiction Experts help you better understand yourself, your triggers, and how to navigate them in real life.

More than Rehab

Those suffering from addiction may find in treatment that they have other co-occurring mental health issues.

We’ll help identify those if they exist and create additional treatment plans and recommendations for them because we see each patient as a whole person, not just someone who is attempting to recover from addiction.

We believe rehab isn’t just about getting sober; it’s about learning how to live a sober life and be happy doing it.

Program Structure

The program is 1-5 days a week, for 2 to 6 hours per day depending on an initial assessment.

Our program allows clients to receive intensive treatment while living at home and continuing with their personal lives.

Days consist of individualized one-on-one therapy and group therapy to develop skills to achieve long-term sobriety.

Therapies:

  • ACT – Acceptance and Commitment Therapy
  • DBT – Dialectical Behavioral Therapy
  • 12 Step Philosophy
  • Psychoeducation
  • Trauma Informed Therapy
  • ETT – Emotional Transformation Therapy
  • EMDR – Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing
  • Neurofeedback
  • Sound Healing, Meditation and Mindfulness
  • Gentle Yoga

Treatment is approximately 90 days and typically begins with more intensive work. As progress is made, it requires less time in the center.
